The vertical numerical control for stone are machines just proposed on the market. They arrive from 2 directions: -Glass machines producers coming from the vertical glass drilling technology -New suppliers coming directly on the market with this machine. The main advantages are: -Area spare -On line working with less operator interventions, less scratches and productivity improving -Double spindle drilling -Easier to load and unload
But now these machines offer less options than the horizontal traditionnal ones. Moreover the useful maximum stone processing dimensions are less important than with the horizontal machines The stone pieces drops ( from milling) are to be study carefully.
But the idea is interesting and need more time to be evaluated.
