Barbet-Brefort moves to Blois, France
Specialized in glazing, mirrors, the company Barbet-Brefort has just moved into new premises. She has invested in a showroom to showcase her know-how.
If there are houses whose know-how is well established, this is the case of Barbet-Brefort. Indeed, the longevity of the company speaks for it. "The Barbet company was created in 1936. We took it back with my partner, Michel Breton, in 2004, adding at the same time the name of Brefort afterwards," explains Bruno Fortin. Keeping the name Barbet well known in the region and adding the beginning of the name of each of the two buyers to bring a little novelty.
But, despite her respectable age, old lady Barbet does not rest on these achievements and continues its modernization. Taking advantage of a classification of the production site of Barbet in flood zone, the two partners were forced to move. On November 15th, they left their site of Saint-Gervais-la-Forêt to join Blois Vienne. "We found 1,500 m² on the ZA des Petites Métairies. Our premises are three times larger to optimize our production tool and to welcome our customers in better conditions, "reveals the co-manager. And thanks to an exhibition hall of several hundred square meters, the company can now expose its know-how to its customers. It must be said that the areas of intervention of Barbet-Brefort are many: glazing, mirrors, verandas, awnings, blinds ....
