VITRUM 2017: MORE VISITORS AND APPRECIATIONS FOR THE BAVELLONI BRAND
At the 20th edition of Vitrum, Bavelloni has recorded a significant attendance and an increase in the number of visitors to its stand.
Professionals coming from all over the world, especially from South America, the Mediterranean Basin, the Balkans and Poland.
The Bavelloni brand, once again one of the most reckoned on the market, has aroused the visitors’ interest thanks to a mix of creativity, reliability and innovation. Highly appreciated its original and impressive stand, the consolidation of the corporate identity further to the return of the brand and the technological content of the machinery on display, in line with the Industry 4.0 standards.
In particular, the new vertical drilling and milling machine VDM 1636 CN, showcased for the first time at Vitrum, has encountered a very favorable welcome for its ease of use, speed and accuracy in the execution. The trend in the demand for the Bavelloni double edgers keeps being very positive. These strong and flexible machines, customizable in many configurations and available with cup or peripheral wheels, were represented on the stand by the HE500 11 3000 model. Also on display, the new NRG330 PJ working center featuring several patented solutions and the straight line mitering machine VE500 V10.
New sales records for Vedip.
After a quiet summer, September sales of grinding wheels for mirror machines have broken a new record on Vedip, the online sale site of Italian wheels.
To date more than 1200 diamond grinding wheels or polishing machines for the vast majority of machines installed on the market (Bavelloni, Intermac, Bovone, Baudin, Lattuada, Besna, Denver ...) are available with technical description, photos and particularly competitive prices . Saint Gobain launches a chain of stores for bathroom.
The distribution arm of the SaintGobain group launches a "Envie de salle de bain" chain. The first store was opened in September in Paris. Window Suppliers Survey
In its September edition, the magazine "Que Choisir" questioned its readers about the quality of services provided by window suppliers. Nearly 5,000 of them responded. Lorenove and Art & Fenêtres led the way, with overall satisfaction rates of 93.5 out of 100.

Macotec on Vitrum
The crisis seems to leave traces in some leading manufacturers in the market of flat glass forming machines. Macotec who was considered the challenger of Bottero had a reduced surface stand, without presenting a single cutting table. Additionally while in recent years they were making common stand with a binder manufacturer, this year the two stands were clearly separated.
The Bimatech brand should disappear
Bimatech, the brand created by Bottero to enter the market of CNC machines for flat glass processing could soon disappear. On the last Vitrum show, the digital control machines on the Bottero booth were presented under the name Bottero.

Continuity of the Evasafe
For 2018 Bridgestone decided to withdraw its name and activities from the markets for flat glass and photovoltaic. Intermediate film production will therefore stop in 2018. For the year 2016 Bridgestone will no longer be present in these markets.
The rolls of Evasafe films will still be available for a long time, then a solution of continuity will be proposed.
The tradition, reliability and quality of the Evasafe continue. The production of a rigid EVA continuous safety film, similar to the Evasafe proposed today: based in Japan, based on the same production method, and the same technology, with the same technical properties and characteristics product.
